Med3 is a non-profit Consortium aimed to set up, develop, build and deliver e- learning courses to healthcare professionals for CME.
The following Institutions participate Med3 currently:

- Public Healthcare System of Bologna,
- Public Healthcare System of Imola,
- Public Healthcare System of Ferrara,
- Bologna University Hospital Authority St. Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic,
- The Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli,
- Montecatone Rehabilitation Hospital,
- Inter-University Consortium CINECA.
The University, being traditionally the core of educational processes, maintains a fundamental role for the development of innovative models of continuing medical education (CME).
The local health authorities, are either granting the continuing medical education, or representing the natural stakeholder. Hospitals and public healthcare clinics are the privileged place in order to verify the effectiveness of every training process as they can define the actual cognitive and operational needs of healthcare Professionals (training needs). Therefore all the courses included in Med3 catalogue are designed, approved and tested based on actual need of the staff and the management af the participating Authorities.
Last but not least, Cineca represents the technological liaison between Health Authorities and Users, providing added value in terms of actual performance of the service and advanced computer skills.
The interconnection of all the Partners enables the production of high level content either scientific or educational allows ICT in supporting benchmark with the most advanced experience of European and international e-learning
